Baby born in unruptured amniotic sac (pic)
It looks almost like science fiction. I had heard about this phenomenon. Some call it "born in the caul" indicating that the child will excel in higher education. I think it's awesome. We can see this child moments from drawing his/her first breath. Such a miracle. Hat tip @JennEcar

I don't know if it means that a child is destined for greatness or not, but it's cool. I wonder how the mother felt?
Relieved, I imagine.
Far out. I guess that must be the way I was born ... I'm so sooper smart.
Never seen that before, very interesting...
It looks like baby has a gash across his bum. What is really there?
I didn't think you would actually SHOW the child in the caul! Urhm, too much information. No problems, mostly, just a bit of 'too much information' overload here. I shouldn't fuss, you never complain when you visit my site and I do the same, urhm, if more on my type of thing. :p
Oh, and good answer... Relieved? I'm going to be laughing about that all day.
Loralee, I am assuming the blood is from the mother. It would be difficult to gash the baby without rupturing the membranes, then the water would splash out like a water balloon broke.
Doom, sorry to spring this on you. As a mother, it's something I have seen, although not exactly like this. On the other hand, it makes a strong anti-abortion statement, in my opinion.
Odie, undoubtedly.
Old NFO, I think this is pretty rare.
Wonderous.
Mucho Respect for real Mothers.
Anti-abortion. Who could at this point!? Lawd.
Good luck to this child, I think they're going to need it.
Odie, Mom said they heard a weird noise, went out to look on the back porch and there I was. Also that they were still trying to decide whether to keep me.
Kid, Harry Potter was left on the doorstep as well.
