Okay, if you think like a gun-grabber, I don't think the video was effective.
Ms Duff kept talking about the 'cosmetic' things on the AR15 - the accessory rails, the pistol grip, etc., as if they were only useful for competition shooting. Therefore (thinking like a gun-grabber) the AR15 is strictly a competition weapon, therefore only licensed competitive shooters ought to be allowed to have one - John Q Hunter/Weekend Target Shooter doesn't need one.
Of course, the fact that the AR15 makes a small hole compared to the weapons that Feinstein and her ilk neglected to ban will fall on deaf ears, since gun-grabbers and facts are oil and water.
Great points made. I'll add the .223, also called a 5.56 mm was introduced into combat to wound rather than kill. The idea was that a wounded man takes out two combatants, (1 wounded, 1 to assist the wounded) rather than just one. The 30.06 she shot is closer to the 7.62 mm round or .308 is the same American caliber and the intention for that is to kill the guy.
Nate and Black Hat, I believe that by speaking up, we influence the debate. This causes politicians who are up for re-election to think twice. Even Democrats.
Getting this gal on Hannity to show what a puny weapon the AR-15 is, takes some of the steam out of their roller.
And it explains why the AR-15 has so little kick. That has mystified me for years.

Even good looking babes are armed.
The only think one should say to this lady is 'Yes Ma'am.'

Good one, I actually saw that last night. :-)
WoFat, I'd do what she asked and she wouldn't need a gun.

Nothing is effective for a gun grabber, short of finding themselves in a situation where a gun would be useful. Even then it's kind of iffy.

Kid, ever so polite. :-)
The Boy Scout Oath..
Kid, funny you mention that. We had our Pinewood Derby today.
That was a great video...but logic was never part of their argument.
Am I the only one who didn't see where the first 9mm round went?
