Ambassador Stevens Funeral, no news coverage? Not ONE WORD?

Thank you, Old NFO, for pointing this out.

There has not been a breath of information on Ambassador Stevens' funeral in the news anywhere.  Was he not a U.S. Ambassador? Was he not killed in the line of duty? Should not Obama, who Stevens represented abroad, present a wreath or something?

The family has a web page where they state that a ceremony was held October 16, 2012. But there is no information anywhere about what happened at that ceremony or who was there. They also say they expect a memorial service to be held in Washington D.C. in "the fall". Huh? After the election? Exactly when?

The obituary is ONE LINE.

Huffpo wrote a piece about receiving caskets at Andrews AFB on 9/14/12:
In addition to Stevens, the ceremony also honored three other Americans killed in Benghazi – Sean Smith, an Air Force veteran who worked as an information management specialist for the State Department; Glen A. Doherty, a former Navy SEAL who worked for a private security firm and was protecting the consulate in Benghazi; and Tyrone S. Woods, also a former Navy SEAL who had served protective duty in various U.S. posts."They knew the danger, and they accepted it," Obama said. "They didn't simply embrace the American ideal. They lived it."
The ceremony recalled one 14 years ago, when President Bill Clinton led a ceremony at Andrews for the return of remains of 10 Americans killed in a bombing in Nairobi.
The presidential election, however, did not recede for the day. Less than two hours after the ceremony, Obama took his motorcade on an unscheduled trip to the Democratic Party headquarters to hold political meetings. In the evening, he planned to attend a previously arranged fundraiser in Washington.Clinton said the rage and violence aimed at American missions was prompted by "an awful Internet video that we had nothing to do with."The transfer of remains came three days after an attack on the consulate, one of a series of assaults on U.S. outposts in Muslim countries that U.S. officials blame on an anti-Muslim video made in the United States.

The Benghazi controversy is not one, but four separate scandals — each of which calls into question the president’s leadership.
First, Benghazi raises legitimate questions about Obama’s competence as commander in chief. In last week’s debate, the president said that his No. 1 job is to keep Americans safe. Then why did he not do so in Benghazi?
Was the president unaware of the threat in Libya? Or did he simply fail to treat it with the requisite level of seriousness? The British saw the danger and closed their consulate months earlier. Once the attack was under way, why did the president fail to send assistance?
Second, the president’s reaction to Benghazi reveals his utter lack of integrity. That he allowed Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to fall on her sword rather than man-up and accept responsibility for his administration’s failure was not only despicable, it was cowardly.
Third, Benghazi reveals the president to be dishonest. It is now clear that the administration knew almost immediately that the Benghazi attack was a premeditated act of terrorism. But, in order to protect his own political hide, the president engaged in a misinformation campaign aimed at deceiving the American public.
And the president continues to lie daily in order to hide the cover-up. His most recent claim (and who can keep track, with his story constantly changing?) that he made information public as it became available to him has been proved patently false. And yet, he continues to claim that if he provided inaccurate information, it was simply “the fog of war.”
Fourth, Benghazi reveals Obama’s deeply flawed ideological principles. Ironically, despite his flippant “fog of war” defense, Obama has never indicated that he regards the Benghazi murders as an attack upon America. To the contrary, his reflexive response was to describe the attack as a random act of violence provoked by American religious bigotry. He then went on to minimize the seriousness of this violence by calling it “less than optimal” and by jetting off to Vegas for a major fundraiser in the immediate aftermath of the attack.

I think the author left out the "Craven Coward" part about Obama, but this will do as a start....

Biden’s words speak volumes about what the administration knew. How did he know that Tyrone Woods had balls the size of cue balls? Unless he hand first hand knowledge of the way Woods died how could he possibly make this kind of statement. For all anyone knew Woods died hiding under a blanket, but he didn’t, he defied orders and went to rescue fellow Americans would were under fire, and then fought for his life, without reinforcements’ being sent, until he was killed. Once again Biden’s’ big mouth exposes him.

Hillbuzz Open Letter To Mitt Romney - great reading

You may have been puzzled these past years why I follow the blog Hillbuzz so closely. Isn't that a blog written by former Democrat supporters of Hillary Clinton? Aren't they gay? Yes, and mostly yes. 

Hillbuzz stands for "Hillary buzz", or news about Hillary. Is Kevin Dujan gay? Absolutely, openly gay.

So?

The important thing is not appearances, but what is in our hearts. Or as Dr. Martin Luther King put it, not the color of one's skin, but the content of one's character. Kevin is a man of character and courage. Not infallible. We are all imperfect. But he is a man who can admit when he is wrong and change course. He has done so publicly and humbly in the past and he does so again today.

I love Kevin for the letter he wrote to George and Laura Bush years ago. That is why I have followed his blog closely these years. Kevin outdid himself today as well in his letter to Mitt Romney. Let's follow Kevin's example and dedicate ourselves to helping Mitt's campaign. I commented today:

Kevin, your letter brought tears to my eyes. I love the way you can write from the heart and your words touch my heart.
The first time I ever saw your blog or read any of your words was your letter to George and Laura Bush. I was amazed that any Democrat had a heart big enough to say the things you said. I have been a fan of yours ever since.
We all stumbled through the primaries, wanting our favorite Tea Party conservatives to win here and there. Primaries are brutal.
We are blessed to have as our nominee a man with a wealth of experience in business, life and politics. I am confident he can turn this country around like he turned around so many failing entities in the past. That is why leftists fear Romney. They want America to fail. Obama cheers against us, as he was taught to do in his overseas upbringing and in his communist upbringing. Romney will mess up his plans. The weakening of our military will be reversed. The weakening of our economy will be reversed. The impoverishing of our people will be reversed.
November 6 will be a blessed day for this country, Thanks to you, I signed up for Romney’s election day task force. I will take a day off of work to devote to helping Romney save this nation, and that blessing in my life will be thanks to you. I will tell my kids and grandkids about November 6, 2012.

Leftist Thug Threatens Me After I Photographed Obama Sign (video)

The man is unhinged. Look at him. You should have heard him before I started filming. Sorry for the poor film quality. The camera is shaking so much because I was really shaking. Here is what happened. I was going for my usual walk around twilight and saw an Obama sign by the side of the road. There was an odd paper attached to it, with small writing that I could not make out. So I got a little closer and took this picture:

The sign says thank you for proving my point about DIRTY REPUBLICANS!!! For every sign you tamper with I have put up 3 more Obama signs throughout the city. Thank(s) to you DIRTINESS THE CITY now has more Obama signs - You ???
I then continued with my walk and a man started yelling at me from across the street. "You have a problem with that sign?" "YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THAT SIGN?" "DIRTY REPUBLICAN!" He then accused me of vandalizing the sign, saying that he had been filming me. I told him that I had only taken a picture of the sign. "THIS time," he said. He kept following me so I told him he needed to stop following me or I would call 911. He said it was a public place and he could do as he pleased. That is when I decided to film him doing it. He stopped yelling as much, but you can hear the threatening tone of his voice in the video, and how my voice shakes. What a THUG!

I will not be intimidated before this important election. Stay safe out there everybody!

CA Dem candidate fears Tea Party Congress

I attended a bipartisan candidate forum on Sunday at my place of worship, with 2 local candidates discussing national issues. The Republican worked overtime to assure the Californians present that he was really quite liberal, despite being a "fiscal conservative".

The interesting part to me was when those present asked the Dem candidate how she feels about Paul Ryan. How much conservative influence did she think he would wield over the executive branch?

She responded that, more important than having Tea Party candidate Paul Ryan on the executive ticket, was how many Tea Party candidates get elected to congress. After all, the Tea Party has already hobbled Boehner (gasp!) and it can get SO much worse for Dems.

I take this as good news.  Dems are worried as we march closer to NOvember.  We in the Tea Party have come a long way, Baby!

Biden is deep in the Benghazi-Gate coverup now

Biden shouted down Ryan last night with the help of the debate moderator, but in doing so, he may have caused problems in the aftermath of the rape/murder of the US ambassador to Libya and the Obama administration coverup of their attempt to make Libya appear to be normalized, despite much violence, by leaving the embassy virtually unguarded.

During Thursday night’s vice presidential debate, VP Joe Biden adopted two tactics that are likely to come back to haunt both him and President Obama. When questioned about Libya, rather than take any responsibility for that deadly attack, Biden threw an agency and a community under the bus.

Regarding the lack of security at the consulate in Benghazi, Biden said that the administration just didn’t know that security officers on the ground had requested more security. The State Department says otherwise:

“We weren’t told they wanted more security. We did not know they wanted more security there,” Biden said.

“All of us at post were in sync that we wanted these resources,” the top regional security officer in Libya over the summer, Eric Nordstrom, testified. “In those conversations, I was specifically told [by Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Charlene Lamb] ‘You cannot request an SST extension.’ I determined I was told that because there would be too much political cost. We went ahead and requested it anyway.”

In fact, two security officials who worked for the State Department in Libya at the time testified Thursday that they repeatedly requested more security and two State Department officials admitted they had denied those requests.

Nordstrom was so critical of the State Department’s reluctance to respond to his calls for more security that he said, “For me, the Taliban is on the inside of the building.”

Biden also called out the intelligence community, arguing that administration officials told the nation that the Benghazi assault resulted from a protest because that’s what the intelligence community told them.
