Me Likee Paul Ryan

He has pretty eyes.
Marco Rubio mentioned receiving an endorsement from Ryan early on in his Senate campaign and called him a “courageous reformer who understands our nation’s challenges.” Rubio also commended Ryan for having “courage to stand up to President Obama and other Washington politicians trying to tear him down.

Opus, you're almost making this a Rule 5 post. In fairness to the Democratic Party, you need to post some cheesecake photos of Joe Biden.

But LL, you are by far the Biden specialist. Like many on Twitter, I can't wait for the VP debate now. Tee hee.

Hope you enjoy the debt left over from General Motors not paying back all of their bailout money that Ryan backed. The VP debates will be comical knowing Ryan backed the Obama stimulus, TARP, the auto bailouts, and a number of other big government plans.

I love Paul Ryan too! I think he's the perfect pick.
Have you seen this lovely piece on his beautiful family?

What a nice change from the scowling, America hating mooch and the sprogs.

Hi Bill,

At least Ryan is trying to DO something about the debt America is in. His budget plan would cut spending and that is the ONLY thing that will save this country in the long run.

Hey, I suppose he would have had a cleaner record if he had voted "present" like Obama did in his short career. But Ryan was out there actually doing his JOB. And sometimes that includes making mistakes, making votes that you regret later.

No man is an angel. Demand that of your politicians and you will have nobody left to run the country.

Bunni, thank you I will be sure and check that out.

When I saw the headline in our Milwaukee Journal, I was kind of, 'Meh'.

Well, I saw this picture:

Yah, Bill, knock the other guy when your guys has done NOTHING RIGHT...

Thanks, Watcher, I downloaded it and may blog it later. Nice bow.

Opus #6 said...

Wo, Ryan is one of the good guys.

Race, Bill is a conservative, but even our own people can get caught up in perfectionism that can be destructive, like the Alinsky tactic of making others live up to their own impossible standards.

I don't understand why Bill is campaigning against the Republicans. Because if the Republicans lose, that leaves the Marxists in power. Doesn't he see that?

Ryan is a good choice. He defends himself well from the onslaught from the evil little Fascist children of the media.

They're going to paint him as turning off the spigot of easy money 23% unemployment and many on 99 week benefits. The repubs aren't going to through people in the street but they better talk that angle wide and well.

That's what scares me about this election - The Loser Factor.
And voter fraud to some extent.

I think the other things like White Guilt are not an issue this time.

Opus #6 said...

Tammy, That's the spirit!

Kid, entitlements are bankrupting the nation. The 52% of "takers" in the US will have to deal with a smaller dole, or all will crash and literally burn like Greece.

Kid said...

Opus, Agreed. But we have to create the jobs first, mainly by removing oblabbercare and all the regs and uncertainty about tax liability, etc. CEO's say this fwiw. I agree of course.

I believe the job creation is the key to Ryan's plans. Go guys Go !

Kid said...

PS - Unemployment bennies and that type of thing have to go with a reasonable amount of notice.

People won't look for a job if they're on unlimited benefits.

SS needs reform, and get the money away from DC. Ditto Medicare. So maybe we're in perfect agreement.

Opus #6 said...

Kid, removal of Obamacare must be the first order of business. Then living within our means.

Bungalow Bill said...

Opus, when it comes to debt, the conservative Club for Growth points out the Ryan budget doesn't even begin balancing the budget until the year 2040. Paul Ryan is all hype. Sorry, but this guy is not the conservative champion they make him out to be. Turn off the Fox News and do some research. I wish he was, trust me, but he is another decepticon.

Woodsterman (Odie) said...

WAY back when all this started, he was my first choice for President. He does have pretty eyes, huh Opie.

Silverfiddle said...

This was a serious pick by Romney, and this election is now a referendum on the future of our nation.

Continue down the progressive path to doom by debt, or have a serious adult conversation about how to put this nation back upon its constitutional foundations and restore fiscal sanity.

The left is scared folks, and they will be throwing mud balls and stink bombs from now to November.

Strap it on!

The thing about the VP debates is Slow Joe is unarmed.

Plus Ryan doesn't need a teleprompter to tell you what he believes.

You know what I am tired of --??

I am tire of the GOP putting up tired psedo-conservative RINO's as the next President when the conservatives hate them. Ala John McCain and now this guy.

What I do find interesting is that in spite of this, those they held up as our Conservative mantle had to pick a running mate to fire up conservatives ala Sara Palin and now Ryan.

In both instances, it was the VP pick that should have been the lead on the ticket and the President pick should have not even been on the ticket.

It shows they are aware that the people require a true conservative on the ticket....

Just a conservative girl said...

Well I have done some research into Ryan's record and it ain't all that. He has repeatedly voted for bigger government. One commenter mentioned extending unemployment bennies. Well, Ryan voted for that too.

Yes this ticket could get Obama out of office. That will be good, but it is very far from working towards limited, constitutional government. I hope everyone is prepared to keep up the fight, because Romney Ryan will only slow the pace, it won't stop it.

Opus #6 said...

Guys, I'm not all about Romney and Ryan. But I am SO against the Obamanation. Seriously.

I learned from THEM. Progressive. Right? That means progress slowly toward your goal. Romney/Ryan is a heck of a lot better than what is in the White House right now. Let's pull together and make some progress away from the Marxist cliff we are teetering on.
