Question: Can Congress Raid Holder's Offices?

Just curious. What happens if Erick Holder never coughs up the documents? I understand he can be jailed for a year and fined 1,000 dollars. But can his offices be raided? Can we somehow force discovery of the facts in the Fast and Furious matter?

That would be lovely. But don't convict him while the imbecile can pardon him.

You could do a search warrant with a special master (the sort of search that courts authorize for doctors, attorneys, religious figures and people who are able to assert special privilege of that sort.

The problem with this is that since Holder is the AG, there is a conflict of interest with federal agencies doing the investigation. Congress has investigators, but they are not law enforcement officers. A "Special Prosecutor" would need to be set up and that prosecutor would need to hire and have an investigative staff receive special deputation to act as US Marshals. I've had that deputation myself and it works - but the Obama Administration doesn't want that because it gives that prosecutor too much power.

And who knows what skeletons they'd dredge up once they got into it?

He and his lying taxing "boss" should be raided and jailed for life, but sadly, it won't happen soon.

I don't know, but it sure could be fun.

I still like the idea of a Mexican arrest warrant.

I hope so. But we should wait (at least for the trial) til the Marxist moron is out of office. We can't have Obozo pardoning Holder.
