You are a music lover. That's a complex and mysterious yet happy and mischievous piece.
Thanks Kid. I had hoped you would like it. I can't help but like it. I was raised that way.
I must admit, in spite of having put some time and effort into piano, it's not quite my thing to listen. Well, maybe some baroque. Sort of the reason I don't watch football too though. But playing is wonderful, and very demanding, too demanding for me now. I do like watching it (which is odd, but...). Some of those moves look easy, or he makes them look easy. They ain't.I do respect players, much more than football players. I am guessing, just on this piece, he spent a lot of a year... besides getting the fingers to have the possibility of the skill... add another six to ten years if he had talent to begin with, but just as likely a lifetime. You were a lucky child. Live performances? On call, even just sometimes? Noice.
Doom, yes, and on a concert-grand Baldwin piano, like the one in the video. Pretty cool! And of course it gave me a taste for more.
What a nice childhood you had, Opus!Happy Mother's Day.
Hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day Opus.
