I had a nice visit with my dad this weekend. He had DVR'd Great Performances, Tony Bennett, Duets II. This song Some Other Time reminded me of our relationship. Quite a tear jerker as he sits next to me with terminal lymphoma.
My dad is weaker now. Can't go to restaurants, but still enjoys sitting and watching shows from his recliner. I consider him a great pianist. He filled the house with music as I grew up. He doesn't play much anymore, but when he played through the years, he played slowly and with great feeling. Piano is still my favorite kind of music.

There is never enough time, not here, not yet. I'll keep you two in my prayers. Oh but some things test, right down to the core. Blessings and love.
Beautiful song! She has an outstanding voice. You and your dad are in my thoughts and prayers.
The clock is the great enemy of us all. You can outrun a lot of things - but never the clock. Therefore, the here and now becomes valuable beyond price.
I think of you two often. There's a lot of love in your hearts.
I hope he's comfortable at least Opus.
Best thoughts to both of you.
Speaking og great pianists.

Ducky, beautiful. Thank you. Yes, my father will enjoy that immensely if he happens by here.
