Wow, your little guys will have the best time! This is very cool. Have a fun night.
Is that the U. S. S. Yorktown, moored at Patriot's Point, Charleston, South Carolina? When our sons were little, and in the Cub and Boy Scouts, we often took them, along with their dens/troops for sleepovers on the historic ship. Alas, they are both young adults now, and can make their own overnight arrangements, but those were good days. Before taking my leave, allow me to congratulate you on being the mother of six. My wife and I had four, which we thought was quite heroic; you've displayed 50% more heroism than we did! Motherhood is a wonderful vocation (as is fatherhood, natch); we can certainly use more conservative moms and dads--like you and your husband--if this society is to survive with some semblance of its traditions of liberty. Again, congratulations.
The Little Dudes are going to explode with excitement!
How exciting! Did you get the gig of chaperone?Maggie@MaggiesNotebookhttp://maggiesnotebook.com
Anchors Aweigh! This is a great opportunity for the boys to experience something of their nation in a first-hand experience. And later, when they serve as naval officers, they'll reflect on the experience. ###
The scouts are some of my best memories.
