Michele Bachmann is one of the bravest patriots in public office

I will never forget 2009. It was a miserable time to be a conservative. Dems held control over both houses of congress and Obama was sprinting into socialism as fast as possible. Their only opponents were outspoken Americans who quickly formed the Tea Party. And a handful of public officials. OK, less than a handful. In fact, in 2009, almost NO Republicans would speak out against the Democrats and their agenda. Only Dick Cheney, no longer in office, and Michele Bachmann. I remember how grateful I felt that she was brave enough to stand in front of TV cameras and state her opposition to Obama's socialist healthcare policies out in the open. Her payback came when Pelosi committed the Democrat machine's power to unseat her from congress in 2010. Didn't work, thank God. Bachmann remains in her congressional seat in Minnesota. And now she announces a run for president? I support her. And one of my favorite bloggers, the Right Wing Peace-Loving Pussycat, feels the same way I do. Yay!
I will vote for Michele Bachmann in a second. I wish I could vote for her 100 million times.

Michelle is the only one who has even suggested rolling back the liberal agenda. She wants to start by dissolving the Federal Dept of Education - An Abject Failure, just like all liberal departments and programs.

Folks if we don't roll back liberalism, which we haven't done Ever, the Dems WILL get in again in 4,8 or 12 years and just pick up where they left off. And that's assuming this large weak dependent percentage of population we have doesn't put Obama back in office. Not even Ronald Reagan (OK, Dem congress, but still) did not roll back a single abject failure liberal program or department.

In my opinion, this is our last chance.

I would LOVE to see Michele pick Allen West (or a couple others I could name) to be her Vice President.

Can you imagine Dumb and Dumber being replaced by an Ultra-American like Michele Bachmann and someone else with probably the best bead on reality that I've seen in a while - Allen West ? Wow.

Ok, I said I'm not going to blabber on about the election of 2012, but Michele Bachman entering the race is an obvious exception.

I think that Michelle Bachmann's candidacy will spice up the field of Republicans working for the Party's nomination. She has a lot of people to convince that she's the right one to defeat Obama and bring balance to a nation going through troubled times.

I will vote for her! I like her more than Palin that is for sure.

My thoughts on a Palin candidacy are well known. A non starter for me. I love Michele and would happily vote for her, but I am not sure she can win the general. But she went a long way last night in convincing people. She was one of the big winners last night.

She is in my top three list, but only one has announced. The three are Sarah Palin, Michelle Bachmann, and Rick Santorum, and oh you can throw in another Rick Perry.

Yeah, I'd vote for her. Of course, I'd vote for a small Malaysian frog before voting for obama.

You could only do that if she were from Chicago....

I like Bachman entering the Republican race. We'll see if she can actually raise any money....

Seems to be a lot of talk about being "electable" against an evil socialist candidate that makes a rotting ham sandwich look more than electable in comparison. Right now, if the person has true conservative principal, speaks true from their hearts and has what's best for this country and rally conservatives and independents, and is rational (why I don't support Palin, after the retard incident, she's just as bad of a narcissist as BO. Just because she's our kind of narcissist doesn't mean she'll do better), we should back them. BO is so bad, well, how do you lose unless you, like McShame, throw the election?

Madmath "electable" Yes, we need to squelch that. Obama Wasn't Electable !

Opus, Thank you, I've included a link to your post as well. Exposure is to politics what Location is to real estate I'd say.

And I love your comments.

I believe Michele is Electable !
My advice to her is short - Don't bash obama, just tell us how you are going to right this ship with a constant smile on your face.
And tell couric et al. to P* off.

She impressed me at the debate..."Go, Michele"

I've always liked her. Her attempt to reform social security last year scored big points with me. Right now she is my second choice.

She is a great conservative stalwart. I will be proud to vote for Bachmann is she gets the nomination. She is in the top tier of the presidential candidates.

Bachmann is now trailing Romney (33%) but she has improved her standing (19%) and is #2 in the field of possible Republican candidates.

I absolutely would support Bachmann. I don't know if she would win the general, but she definitely will give the MSM fits.
