I'm offended by this, too. Supposedly the NAACP "didn't intend to cause offense." Um, yeah, right.

I saw this on another blog that I followed. I did some googling on this. One forum, which I would love to give credit, but I didn't bookmark it, brought up this is very much like O covering up religious symbols at Notre Dame.
Racists come in many varieties. NAACP, KKK, etc. NAACP also has a "Black National Anthem" that one of their members made up on his/her own. To that extent, I think they'd be more comfortable in Botswana, or as you suggest, Cuba.

This really ticked me off when I saw the picture.

Thanks to Labour, many British schoolkids no longer have any idea who Winston Churchill was - and as we know, one of the Obamacommie's first actions was to remove Churchill's bust from the Oval Office and return it to the British Ambassador.
