A California Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving from California. We don't get many signs of fall around here. But I did find this one leaf on my lawn.

I trust that that a member of your household staff (if the groundskeepers were not available) swept up the leaf immediately. The pesky seasons usually don't impact we ho live in Southern California so profoundly... ;^)

Speak for yourself young lady. Fall was a month ago here with all of the aspens yellow. We're now enjoying winter here. We got 3 feet of snow and it's been 0 degrees the last two mornings. It will be the best skiing Thanksgiving Week I can ever remember. This should give our local economy a shot in the arm.

Opie, you are your family have a very wonderful Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving, Opie!
I have lots of leaves on the ground I can send your way. I was waiting until they all blew off my trees. Now it's too cold and rainy to rake them up, maybe later in the week.
Have a blessed day, I'm thankful you're my friend ;-)

To you from here in The Antelope Valley. The leaves are falling and the low this morning in Cal City was 17. Crisp to say the least!
Best wishes to you from here in The Antelope Valley to you and yours this day, Opus.

I know that leaf. It escaped Utah a while back! It must have known the snow was coming. Quite a trek. :p

Happy Thanksgiving. I hope you have good eats and the rug rats and all around. Bon appetite.

Want to trade that leaf for a lawn full of sleet?

Hope you enjoyed your Thanksgiving day completely!

Wow, it's taken that long for this leaf to migrate south for the winter? It left here in mid October!

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving Opus.

The fall foliage this year in the D.C. area has been the best in at least a decade.

Even better -- the leaves turned late and lasted well until Thanksgiving Day. Usually by Thanksgiving Day, the leaves have turned brown and mostly fallen from the trees.
