I saw it last week on Sixty Minutes. At the time, it forced me to reflect on war, on friends (most are dead) and on the price of freedom. We seem to have an endless stream of incredibly brave and stalwart soldiers to throw into the meat grinder.
To me it underscores the absolute need to get our political ducks in a row (for a change) because bad decisions in Washington DC mean that our best and bravest die. There are narcissistic fools like obama, plain fools like Slow Joe Biden who have never been right - about anything - and bumbling idiots like Barney Frank.
We owe soldiers and marines great leadership all the way to the Commander in Chief.
I blame the Commander in Chief for not giving the troops what they ask for. He can amass 1.5 trillion dollar deficits, but can't spare a dime to keep our troops safe. IMPEACH the bastard!

We do have the brightest, bravest, and most dedicated military. God bless and watch out for each one.

We'd be lucky to get to stand in those guys shadows when they come home.
God Bless 'Em!
