Pamela Geller and Opus #6 (myself) Rule 5 Saturday

Pamela Geller is amazing. She is a gladiator on the world scene, fighting for freedom, justice and the American Way. Undeterred by jihadi death threats, she very kindly paused from signing her new book, the Post-American Presidency, to pose with me for a Blackberry picture.
To that end, she posted a lovely bikini vlog (video blog) on Christmas Eve 2007 thanking the troops and exercising her right to wear a bikini and have her say. As she said, if she tried to do this in Europe, she would have been arrested. {content warning}

Find more Pamela Geller on Atlas Shrugs and SIOA.  Special Rule 5 thanks to The Other McCainAmerican Power Blog, and Theospark.

Pam is certainly in the terrorist's sites, they would love to take her down and those like her. I fear for her and for her kids.

Great picture of the two of you.

But does she have an opinion? :)

Opie, You should be the subject of a Rule #5 ... Congratulations.

I'm just not sure where she stands on the issues Opus. I wish she'd speak her mind...;-D Great post! Two conservative hotties fighting the good fight!

Wow, you really do live the life of a rock star.

Very Cool Pic, Opus! You go to all the cool events out there! Have a fun weekend.

That is some hot blogging!

Opie,

Great Rule #5 post!
(Glad you took my suggestion,,hehe)

Pamela ROCKS and needs all of our support to advance the same message.

Opus #6 said...

Christopher, it happened that I had that pic in my phone and I thought it would make a nice piece. Thanks!

Opus #6 said...

Donald, nobody can deny that she's hot.

Bunni, we do have some fun goings on in So Cal. I get a little envious sometimes of folks like JACG who live so near Washington, DC, though. She will be Tea Partying like it's 1775 in a few weeks.

Trestin, it was incredibly cool meeting Pamela, I'll admit.

Opus #6 said...

Red, Pamela is a great inspiration for all of us.

Opus #6 said...

Odie, see? I did it after all.

Opus #6 said...

Hoping, that's the problem. Pamela is too shy to express herself. ;-)

Opus #6 said...

Debbie, me too.

There are two great patriots in that photo. It looks like a professional took the photo - as if you were both in a studio.

Opus #6 said...

LL, judging by the ladies' expressions, the photographer must be someone they are fond of.

I will have to ask for your autograph. Great job..

On another subject: I tried to find info on what Mrs. O wore to the infamous dinner yesterday. I couldn't find anything to confirm she attended or confirm she didn't attend. Interesting. I even went through several "we love Mrs. O" blogs to see if they had a picture of her at the dinner. Nothing.

Opus #6 said...

Supi, thank you for investigating the Michelle Obama Ramadan dinner question. Odd that she would not host a dinner in her own home.

I felt special just posing next to Pamela. And she was completely gracious. A great lady.

I'd give a kidney to have been you, Opus.

I'd give my left kidney to have been you, Opus.

Opus #6 said...

Watcher, Dude! Next time I'll invite you, OK? No kidney required. Besides, a plane ticket has to be a lot cheaper than a kidney operation, right?

She was totally cool. I can't even explain how cool. She was so nice to me. And when she heard I was a blogger she got even more excited. Made me feel very welcome and happy.

My kind of lady. Opinionated and fearless. Just like you Opus #6. Must be why I like reading your post.

Keep it up the good fight.

The_Kid said...

Nice pic. Your name change put you number 2 on my blogroll.

The_Kid said...

Yea, this is not our Father's America.

Opus #6 said...

Scalawag, thanks. It is good to be shoulder to shoulder with you and the other bloggers.

Opus #6 said...

Kid, cool! I'll have to swing by and see.

Z said...

That's just totally wrong about Europe .... In Europe, she could be topless and do an ad like this.

Opus #6 said...

Z, I think she meant the anti-islam talk. They have a different idea about free speech versus hate speech over there.

Maggie Thornton said...

Opus, what a great opportunity for both of you to meet. Pamela is a modern-day crusader, as are you. Since that video in 2007 so much has happened. We could not have predicted the extreme radical-left leanings of Congress today, if our lives had depended on it.

Great pic, btw.

I'm linking to this for a scheduled post going live early A.M.

Have a great week, Opus!

Maggie, it was interesting to hear her take on late 2007 politics. I wish things had gone differently....

Donald, you rock the linkage. Thanks so much!
