Obama Is A Worse Snoop Than Bush

Obama wants the CIA to team up with Google to track all of our internet surfing. The Patriot Act, removing the constitutional requirement for "probable cause" was bad enough under Bush. Obama promised to get rid of the Patriot Act. But once in office, he not only kept the Patriot Act in place, he now seeks to invade our privacy even further. Both the Patriot Act and this new spying plan ignore our constitutionally protected rights to privacy of our "papers and effects". 200 years ago, there were no emails, but I bet if you asked our founding fathers, they would agree that emails are the modern equivalent of "papers" which shall not be searched without a warrant.

Why is the American left not screaming daily about the Patriot Act. It was BAD when George W. Bush did it, but it is OK now that Obama does it? And now Obama wants more power? Come on, lefties. Show some character. Unconstitutional is unconstitutional no matter which president is in office.

H/T Gateway Pundit.

"Come on, lefties. Show some character."

That's the real problem now, isn't it?

One cannot be burdened by character when they are engaged in a slash and burn effort to aquire power at all costs.

Oh, I absolutely believe they support this crap 100%. As long as it is their agenda being advanced, anything goes.

Those who even know the score.

I'll bet most of them don't even know what's going on or what little Adolph is up to.

They took him at face value when they voted for him, so when he says he is for individual privacy, they buy it hook, line, and sinker.

How else could one explain a democrat being voted in more than twice.

Lefties have always been the worst snoops on the planet - just look at the Soviet Union, East Germany and, more recently, at what Labour have done to Britain.

I can't say I'm surprised, Opie, Obama's actions only demonstrate further that he really is a full-blown communist, hell bent on destroying American democracy.

Google "Echelon Clinton" and you'll see that extensive snooping under a Democrat POTUS is nothing new.

I guess we've never had a Marxist Democrat like Obama, so that part is unique, I'll grant ya that...

Spot on.

Of course, in order for the left to continue unchecked with their agenda, they must shut up any opposition and prevent the news of what they up to getting out.

Privacy is a thing of the past. I think this is why so many use other names online. Not me though, I know they are watching me, so I might as well be open and put on a good show. lol.

Trestin, I always wondered if that was your real name. I'm thinking of taking on the name "Opus", to make it all official. ;-)

AOW, then we must foil their evil plans.

Guy, we need our Republic back NOW. I understand our constitution has been eroded for decades and decades. No excuses anymore. I pray that we can elect enough honest politicians to get the job done.

Spidie, Obama is worse than we had feared. And that is pretty bad.

Kid, my old buddy who supported Obama and knows I'm a blogger absolutely REFUSES to discuss politics in any way with me. They stick their fingers in their ears and say, "la la la la la la la."

Arby, I guess my appeal was aimed at the few lefty voters who might be idealistic but honest. I don't know how many of them are left, but I would like to reach them with my message.

Our Constitution limits the power of government. When are advocacy groups going to begin launching lawsuits to prohibit this usurpation of OUR power?

Welcome to the new age of Orwellian life in American. I guess this is what the President meant by trasparency - ours, not theirs.

I think Google is already spying on us, well, I know they are me. I'll tell you about it next time we chat.

I am so SICK of the double standard the lefties exhibit. It's just horrible. When will it end?
Have a nice start tothe week, Opie.

Opus, is there anything liberals do that cannot be directly correlated to the reactions of small children?
