Humorous Interlude, Needed After A Tough Week

We sure could use a break from the unrelenting bad news this week. A lone, unelected judge in CA, an openly gay judge in San Francisco no less, has taken it upon himself to reverse 5000 years of accepted law. Great commentary on the blogs this morning, particularly at Eye of Polyphemus (did you know Jaime is a lawyer?) and Trestin Meacham.

Every dog has his day and the left is popping champagne corks this week. Enjoy it while it lasts, Bozos. You have been poking and offending the formerly silent American majority for well over a year now in your "progressive-socialist-fest". NOvember is coming and you will see what the consequences are. Nobody in this generation will EVER forget what you did when you had unfettered power. And if we know what's good for this nation we will chronicle your misdeeds into history books so our children's children will be similarly well-informed. My best advice to would-be socialists is to move to a country that already has the system you idolize. Stop trying to force it down our throats.

Now, back to the fun part. I saw a couple of pictures on twitter links yesterday. I hope you enjoy them:

The first pic is an anti-theft sandwich bag, perfect for use in the office:

This pic was tweeted by Lord Voldemort himself:

The courts work so very hard to make sodomy acceptable.

And you're right, I would NOT steal that sandwich from the company refrigerator.

LL, I don't know how anyone can eat that sandwich. They say that cuisine is mostly in the presentation.

Have a big bite of that sandwich Libs. You're going to need that energy after NOvember when we chase you into the sea.

Opie,

What a day-brightener and good idea, the sammich bags!

Gratuitous reference posted on TWP and LCRez about your morning commentary. I propose a "Pantload Birthday Bash" for our beloved POSOTUS; refere to Bunni's post on same.

You mean that green stuff's on the outside of the bag? I saw that picture and thought it was a moldy sandwich.

Nice motovational poster, BTW. And I hope ya'll out there in CA get to keep Prop 8. The last thing we need is this battle going up to the Supreme Court.

I find it hard to laugh right now, but that's never stopped me. I'm not sure if they are popping "corks" - at least, not spelled that way :) Hehe, cheap shot I know - I'm cheap, it is my way.

I love the sandwich bag - priceless.

Candle, ooo naughty boy. We will need to support each other to get through this. I truly don't think the libs will win in the long run.

Odie, your is the best comment I have read today.

This Prop 8 reminds me of the old (very old) video game 'Pong', Tennis and Basketball; back and forth ad infinitum.

Love the sandwich bag idea!

WP, you are too sweet to repost my poor scribble.

All Real, I don't see how we can avoid a Supreme Court battle. The appeals court is entrenched with liberals as well.

Christopher, one day the music will stop.

Our office could definitely use some of those sandwich bags...

That baggie is gross, I don't care if would stop someone else from eating my sandwich!!

Also, I appreciate your comment on my post. I agree with your overall comment, but I guess what I am saying is that then needs to be the narrative. If Islam isn't a true a religion, work on getting it labeled that way and the constitutional issue goes away. Until then, we can't give up our liberties out of fear. The founding fathers were very clear on that.

Luv the Lord Voldemort pic! Darth Vader is in Voldemort's corner. Maybe, we should add some Dems to that pic? They kinda fit the Lord Voldemort or Darth Vader mold.

I like the sandwich bag. I eat out but a lot of people eat in the lunch room at work, and apparently food theft is a minor problem. Who steals food out of the company fridge ?

Love it love it love it, I had the same mad desire for a laugh myself so I posted a gently amusing video on my little lilacsunday blog. This is shaping up to be an awful week.

THanks for the laughs, Opie. But what isn't funny is that this "judge" took the will of the people, and threw it in the gutter. We won't forget this November.
