Former US Gen Warns of Chemical Attacks Against Israel

This does not sound good. I hope that Obama's weakness does not embolden Israel's enemies. I fear it already has. :-(

..I fear you would be right. His fumbling and apologies have already emboldened the terrorists in this world and it is only a question of time before something catastrophic happens.

What is our count now of plots gone awry owing to ill luck on the part of the perpetrators? Three? Four?

For the U.S., I predict it will go like this: (1) November will see a reversal of the political direction with the G.O.P. capturing a number of seats in the house (possibly removing Pelosi) and about 4-6 senate seats, (2) Obama and the Democrats will breathe a sigh of relief because it was nowhere near the cataclysm they though it would be, (3) he does not steer towards the center and the people grow even more restive causing his numbers slide, (4) a political candidate from the right jumps in to fill the immense conservative political vacuum and becomes a serious challenger, (5) as does Hillary Clinton, and (6) AQ or other shadow group sees their chance to strike disappearing and -- WHAM! -- another 9/11.

Machiavellian? More like Rube Gold Goldberg, I guess.

Every time that man opens his mouth, a little dictator gets a little bolder. The stupid jerk is also setting us up to be the second target.

Knowing Soviet era submarines as I do, I suspect they aren't chemical weapons -- likely something in the boat failed and they were getting rid of either faulty batteries that the Iranians screwed up.

Iran bought several Kilo Class Soviet/Russian boats. So did the Indians, and they've had continuing problems with the batteries, designed for operations in COLD water/weather. They just don't work right in warmer water and have a bad habit of bursting, flooding the sub with chlorine gas as well as particulate hydrochloric acid.

I'm not suggesting that's what happened here because I just don't know -- but if I was a betting man, I'd bet heavy on my scenario.

However, barack hussein obama is a very weak leader who leans heavily toward and favors his own Muslim people. Nobody fears a paper tiger and we've been made to look foolish and effective by the current regime. Their obvious disdain for Israel and their disregard for the Jewish State has sent a signal that the US doesn't care if it's attacked with nuclear or other weapons. Iran pledged to use nuclear weapons on Israel. I don't know that much is left to speculation.

LL, the battery scenario is somewhat comforting. The nuclear scenario is not.

Odie, Obama would stand at the podium hand-wringing, maybe 12 days after the event. After a shout out to some of his buddies.

War Planner, even Rube Goldberg gets things right some of the time. That is what worries me.

I fear that Obama has already emboldened our enemy. I fear that Iran is going to get a hold of nukes, or make nukes and that Israel and the United States are going to be their targets. We need an adult as our president again. This child in a man's body is utterly clueless or being ignorant on purpose, which is worse.

They seem to be circling Israel like wolves do a wounded animal. Oh, how I hope that the Mullahs will be smart enough to keep the nut job under control.

We should have supported the uprising last year!

Yes, I think that BO has certainly emboldened our enemies and with each passing day he emboldens them further. His every action, gesture, and snub to Israel is well-considered and intended to send the message to Iran that the U. S. doesn't care one bit if Iran nukes Israel. And that he won't raise a hand to either help Israel or retaliate.

BO has repeatedly shown in word and deed that his sympathies and loyalties lie with the Muslim world, not with America. Or her allies.
