I first saw Palin the weekend it was announced she was McCain's running mate. I stood 15 feet in front of her at a St. Louis minor league park (O'Fallon, Missouri). A few weeks later she was campaigning in Southwest Missouri. I printed a good picture that I took at the first rally. Got there early so I was up front. When she passed by signing autographs, I handed her the picture. She thought that was cool that we had taken an earlier picture of her. You should have see her smile. She said so as well, as we shared a few words. It's really something I treasure now.; January 28, 2010 at 3:47 PM
