Apologize to no one. Remind those of our sacrifice and don't confuse arrogance with leadership.

If I added correctly the count is 104,366 dead.

And we have to watch an American elected leader who apologizes to Europe and the Middle East that our country is "arrogant"!

The EU could not even exist without the US providing military protection for the entire populace. The day we close our European bases, Russia will be back in Poland and the cheese-eating surrender monkeys will be adding German to their government forms.

That need to post my message, but there is a need to post your post :)

For some reason the photos would not download. Somewhere I recently heard the quote that if Europeans want the US out of Europe, does that include our war dead?

Velcro, Sorry about the photos. They are all beautiful photos of cemeteries. I will try to fix it when I get home. I am on my Blackberry right now.

Opus #6 said...

Nickie, as you are older and wiser than I, I will take your word on that.

Candle, this is one of those little tidbits of information that our liberal teaching establishment failed to mention in history class.

Opie, this topic is truly the REAL "Inconvenient Truth".

Opus #6 said...

Nickie, we must teach history if our schools won't.

Blogger is wonky today, and photos aren't always publishing. I'll come back to view the photos, Opie, when Blogger gets it together. No need to publish this comment =)

Thinking about stuff like this absolutely makes my blood boil.

I posted awhile back at the Daily Retard about the efforts of a group in Germany attempting to locate remains of fallen WWII heroes, and the fact that the Germans don't understand why we are still looking.

These are the people obamoron wants to turn us into? I just do not understand...

Wow- those numbers speak loudly. I 100% agree with your point here. These men did not die in vain, thanks for reminding those of us who love this country.

Ticked, it's my fault. I loaded the pics wrong. Too bad, too. They are really pretty. You will have to take my 1000 words for it. ;-)

Sick of the Idiots, a major problem will be traceable to lack or proper teaching of history. Ignorance makes ignoramuses of us all.

VL, even I did not realize that the number was over 100,000. Truly astounding and a cause for national pride. So many heroes.

This is a very sad and somber post. We lost so many good mean overseas....they all are spinning in their graves over how their memories are desecrated by the poser in the WH. He makes me sick, esp. with his latest photo op of meeting our Brave Warriors as they were sent home to their grieving families.

If I was one of their loved ones, meeting they casket and then seeing this jerk there, I would tell him to leave and not shake his hand or even talk to him, and I wouldn't want him to touch the flag their coffin was draped in. Sad Times, Opie. PS> Did you read what I sent you? Unbelievable, huh?
Write Back when you can. Happy Halloween.

And Nov. 1st is All Souls Day, I will be praying for the Souls of all our Brave Loved Ones who sacrificed all for our freedom and liberty.

Damn straight! I'm SO ready for another Reagan, a great man (or woman) who won't apologize for our nation and who will work to reestablish our nation's greatness.

Great Post.

64 short years ago. And the last of the survivors are just now leaving the planet. Today's kids think of all that as ancient history if at all.

Foreign countries are a lot like liberals. Inferior and motivated only to insult and complain about the successful.
