Rep Miller Responds to Obamacare Supporter

Congressman Gary Miller (R-CA) was confronted last night by a lady who had cancer in the early 1990s. She is now told by her insurance company that she has a preexisting condition, though she has been cancer-free for 15 years. Rep. Miller replies that we need to help the small percentage of people who need it, but that we don't need to ruin health care for ALL. August 25, 2009 Nixon Library East Room.

I must tell you how much I'm enjoying these videos. I suspect, though, that you were having a grand time filming them.

I am enjoying your videos also. Congressman Miller has common sense and that is what we need all the time, but especially today. He answered the ladies question very well.

Teresa, I agree. He has a way of showing respect to his democrat constituents that seemed odd to me at first, but made sense on further reflection. He has had to get along with all sorts of folks all these years, and represent all of his constituents. Too bad some of them still feel unrepresented, simply because he refuses to support Obamacare. He addresses their concerns, yet they still don't admit he listens to them.
