The Demise of flag@whitehouse.gov

It sure is great that the "snitch" line into the White House has been dismantled. I am glad to see that the ACLU weighed in against it. Whew. I had feared they were too far gone in the tank for Obama to pay any attention to his totalitarian escapades.

The Axelrod emails are another topic entirely. I first noticed these when reading the blogs in early June. On June 4, 2009 I saw that a number of my fellow bloggers were rattled to find emails from White House Chief Advisor David Axelrod in their inbox. Red at Caught Him With a Corndog dissected her email thoroughly in a blog post here. This was one about the speech Obama gave in Cairo, Egypt. Red was "spammed" again on July 23, 2009 by David Axelrod here, about health care. Here another blogger complains of receiving the second Axelrod email in a week on August 14, 2009. And here is another. I noticed that some of the bloggers involved had email links displayed on their blogger profile pages. Could in be possible that the White House sought out opposition bloggers to target with an email campaign? Could it be that the program expanded until it encompassed Major Garrett at Fox News? (BIG MISTAKE).

I find it very troubling that the Messiah is forced to abide by the provisions of the First Amendment and other US laws - he must be galled. That's why he was standing on the brink at the Grand Canyon.

If Hillary was there she would have been challenging him to jump.

They closed it down?? Damn!

My neighbor spilled orange rinds all over my driveway when he unloaded the minivan after his brood's soccer practice.

I was just typing up an email accusing his whole family of treason when this terrible news boke. Now what? How can I assist in Obama's work for a better country?

Still amazed by the lack of media coverage of this, but not surprised - seeing it is a liberal with a liberal media.

If this was Bush or some other republican - they would be howling about it.

Beware of Axelrod and the Emanual brothers. How did we let this happen?

This isn't over. They will just be smarter about it. I really think they beleive they are above the media and this stuff will never come out.

Now I'm beginning to worry about the White House. They never email anymore. They never write!

I was a recipient of one of the Axelrod Egypt emails.

Funny thing is, it was NOT sent to the email that is on the blog.

I have never requested any white house contact.

Axelrod, Emanuel brothers, Obama, Czars, and the rest of the White House thugs are dangerous and quite devious Commies. ALL those windbags need to be sent back to the windy city.

Hey Opus, I didn't send you the questions @ SGP cause I can't send you an email up there for some reason. I'm sure you know what to ask nonetheless. Good luck at your Town Hall.

Nickie, never fear. With this crew, there are bound to be more opportunities.

Hit 40, that's a plan.

Scalawag, I remember hearing that it would be a chore for the MSM these coming years trying to figure out what to report. Can't keep up the "Bush is Bad" stories forever. Maybe they will have to start talking about gardening or recipes.

Rotti, bunch of schemers.

Bill, you bet they aren't going to give up their enemies list.

Give it time, Nickie. Give it time.

Teresa, dangerous commies is right. They need out of Washington. Post haste.

Thanks, One Ticked Chick. We probably need to be officially "friends" to do the Private Message thing. I will try to friend you over there so it will be easier in the future.

They are so sneaky, Opie...I know this went underground, they still are out there, like slugs.
I hate axelrod, he's a scum from the daley machine, they all are. I'm glad I didn't get an email from him...eeek! and Emmanuel's both of them, ish!
Please don't send them back to Chicago, I've had enuf, send them to kenya, where they belong!

It's all starting to come apart, the cracks in the facade are getting bigger and that's good, but these sneaky moonbats won't stop, they'll just try a different way - don't take your eyes off them, Opie, not that you would anyway. It's great to watch people power at work because the British people are so complacent that they have allowed Labour to get away with their outrageous attacks on our civil liberties for far too long - but not for much longer.
