Pretty funny.Lately, I'm a Malt-O-Meal or oatmeal kinda guy. Years ago I swore off the hard stuff. I no longer have the toucan on my back.
I haven't bought the hard stuff in years, either. But I still like the taste. Too much.
Me, I like to have my "Ewell Gibbons Memorial Bowl of Grape Nuts". Gives me the necessary roughage to keep up with my daily Diablo sammich and a Dr. Pepper. Hey Opie ... Man, it was getting ready to be on. I am glad you clarified and said that Nick was el numero uno patriot of Eye-talian descent. Otherwise, we would have had to settle this (again) via a duel. Problem with dueling with Nick, though, is that while you are taking your paces, a carload of his goons will come around the corner in a Suburban a strafe you. I've been down this road with him and his ilk before.
It was all a misunderstanding, DC.You know I love all of yoos guyz.
Opus, I am unable to load videos on my blog. Can't figure out why. There is one that deserves to be seen.It is on youtube, uploaded by someone named misterdregs. It is very funny. A show tune. I love show tunes. check it out, you may agree.
JACG, I LOVE it. I'm putting it up in the morning. Perfect. And a pleasant version of the song to boot.
DC.. Goons? GOONS? Where I come from we refer to them as interns.
Hi, Just stopping by to say hi. Hope you are having a great weekend.
I harbor only goodwill toward Nickie and his internet interns.
Golfersmom, funny you should mention it. The weekend was great. I think the heat spell let off just a tad. I hope you had a good weekend too.
lol...from where you get this cool stuff..
Shraddha, I found the video on the blog Sane Without Drugs. This blog is from one of my newest followers, Hit 40. I went to thank her for the follow, and saw this irresistible little gem.
I am stopping by to say thank you. For visiting but also for your heart felt words. I hope you are safe and some day find a way to share your experience, its very theraputic. Sometimes the memories aren't easy, but getting them out in the open...good for the soul!Take care, stay safe.Lori
Lori, though we have never met in person, you and your children hold a place in my heart.
Interns, alright. They ran like Frenchmen (sorry, I know that's hitting below the belt. Your boys run like them, but they cook better) when I called in close-air support.
DC, Nickie, and everybody, I apologize for my poor sense of humor. I can see that I have caused offense. I really do like you guys. I assume it was the joke that I posted that was in poor taste. Probably the timing didn't help. You guys are not interns. You run rings around me and I enjoy just trying to keep up. You are experts in every way.And as such, you hesitated to launch an attack, which I appreciate. I am truly sorry for any hurt I have caused through my poor choice of material. I don't have a finely tuned sense of humor and crossed the line. The good thing about guys is, you generally don't hold grudges like ladies do. So let's all move on. I really do appreciate your friendship. You mean a lot to me. I don't want silly misunderstandings to change that.
That was funny, thanks for sharing the video!
Man, I lost my comment ... Opie, no offense on my end. Goodness, I am just having fun with my old blogbrother. Sorry that you thought there was something more than that. Hey, even though I have never met the guy (ahem), Nick is really like a brother to me. So ... we play hard and "wrestle" on the internets. Something good happens to Nick, it happens to me. Be not afraid. If it looks like I am mad at him, it's usually a tipoff that I am laughing. And ... you can't hurt my feelings on the internets. Takes real life to do that. Okay, so there you go. Sound good?
Mandala Michelle, glad you stopped in.
DC, no problem. Thanks so much.
