Foreign Press Covers Tea Party Protests

It is a sad day when Americans have to look overseas for accurate reporting of what is happening on America soil. Here is a news story of the Washington, D.C. Tea Party on July 4th.

The American State-Run Media is unwilling to cover protests that run contrary to the Obama Administration and it certainly paints them for what they are (wholly owned assets of the radical left). It's pathetic that we are required to go to foreign news bureaus to find out what's happening in America. - I wonder when the Obamanation advocates will shut down the Internet?

I was just remarking about this to my friend. Thousands of people attended another TEA Party event and I think aI saw a 20 second blurb on our local news regarding the event. Pathetic and sad. Just shows we are all on to something right.

I'm sitting here by the TV waiting for extensive wall-to-wall coverage of a nationwide protest.

I'm still waiting!

Who would, (not so long ago), ever have thought that the American people would need to look to Russia Today for accurate reports?
Over here it's the same - if I want to find out what's really going on I have to watch Al Jazeera.
The world's gone mad, Opie!

LL, don't be giving them ideas, now.

Red, we need to TIVO their silly little news reports. Let's expose their unfairness.

Nickie, sorry there is nothing to TIVO by you. Sad day for this country, indeed.

Spidie, yes, the world *has* gone mad. It is heartening to know that there are like-minded individuals in other countries. I'm so glad to have met you on the blogs.

We couldn't expect the American "drive-by media" to cover such trivial nonsense, now, could we?

As I reflect on Independence Day, and the July 4th tea parties, we know what we are celebrating. We are celebrating our liberty and freedom. We want our children to enjoy liberty and freedom also. We, The People, are mad. We're mad as hell!! We're sick and tired of politicians (no matter what party they may belong to) promising to uphold and defend the Constitution, and then taking the Constitution and the principles this country was founded upon, and slowly and systematically shredding and trashing them. One could argue that this is simply gross incompetence, but incompetence would sooner or later result in something being passed that is actually good for the country. But this doesn't happen. Unfortunately, this is nothing short of an organized and well orchestrated attempt to drag our country down to socialism. This will NOT happen, not on our watch. We will not be the United Socialists States of America. If our elected officials won't listen to us, and uphold the Constitution and return the country to our founding principles, then by God, We The People will do it ourselves!!

Minuteman, I don't think it is mere incompetence either. There are sinister dealings afoot. I will swing by your blog forthwith.
