Feeling Disney Today

I was reading through the kids' book-order forms, looking longingly at the Cinderella Princess Collection. Sigh. I have 4 boys at home, so I will not be ordering this book.

But that doesn't mean I can't reminisce. My favorite disney book was always Cinderella. I remember getting in trouble as a kid because my mother would find me after bedtime reading on the floor of my bedroom by the light from the hall with the door cracked open.

And the movie itself has a really beautiful love song. Great music and lyrics. So welcome to the lovely ladies of Ann's VGNO. Here is my musical tribute for the day:

So this is love, Mmmmmm
So this is love
So this is what makes life divine
I'm all aglow, Mmmmmm
And now I know
The key to all heaven is mine
My heart has wings, Mmmmmm
And I can fly
I'll touch ev'ry star in the sky
So this is the miracle that I've been dreaming of
Mmmmmm
Mmmmmm
So this is love

Happy early VGNO!

Malificent is my fave. Then I would have to say the Evil Queen from Snow White and the Stepmother from Cinderella and Ursula the Sea witch.

OK, Red, I thought it over and I have to say my favorite villain is Mikey Goobian from Meet the Robinsons. I love it when he says "Don't let it Go!", giving himself as a child the bad advice he followed that turned him into a bad guy. Great movie with a wonderful life lesson for the kids.

I love Cinderella, too! Think she was my favorite princess...or maybe Arielle....

Stopping by for VGNO. Hope you have a great weekend.

Thanks Goodness Obama hasn't tried to take over the Magic Kingdom yet Opus. Fortunately they have all their finances in order as all family oriented enterprises across America seem to do.

I hope this classic never gets old. I feel your pain. I have 2 boys at home. Although I love the mess, sometimes I could really use a princess day. Happy VGNO.

I love this movie. Have you seen Cinderella Two? Ugh, none of the magic that this first one has.

I was so glad when I had a daughter (after haveing 2 boys who I love). It is so fun to watch my daughter dress up in her princess dresses and shoes and watch the movies together. My favorite princess movie is Beauty and the Beast. My daughter really likes Cinderella and also Mulan. I was surprsied about Mulan but glad she likes the strong woman who knows how to take care of herself. Bippity Boppity Boo!

I forgot to add that my boys like Sleeping Beauty but only when Prince Phillip is fighting the dragon!

I'm very blessed to have two boys and two girls, but neither of my girls ever really got into the princess stuff. Only one of my girls plays with dolls. ;-) I always loved Cinderella, too. I had five older brothers and no sisters. Mom and dad had to have six children before they finally "got it right", I tell my brothers jokingly. :-)

But hey, I see you do have one girl. You just have four left at home and all are boys, right?

Six children. Wow. That's awesome. My best friend has you beaten by one. She has seven and I am hoping she keeps having more.
