First orthodontic visit
Today my 9-y-o will allow the orthodontist to place braces on his teeth. I explained the discomfort and the need to eat soft foods for a few days. I'm proud of him for his bravery.

Best of luck with the braces. Hopefully it won't be to painful and will go smoothly.
Are they regular braces or are they invisline?
Good luck 9-year old! I hope it goes well. Oooh I remember my first and second day of braces... we went to Busch Gardens and I rode a roller coaster (I HATE those things!) to take the pain away. Milkshakes and smoothies and chocolate pie anyone?! I guess that's not what the dentist would be excited about but at least it's something to be excited about with a painful mouth!
Hope it goes well!
I remember those days! They adjust surprisingly well but it does take a couple of days. The funny part is that they have to learn to put their lips over the braces. At first they get stuck on them and it's hard not to laugh! :)
Good luck to him! I hope all goes well!
He is braver than I.
What a life experience.
Hope everything goes well! Tell him Aunty Veronica is very proud of him.
We're going to be entering the world of braces soon with our 9 year old. I hope that he has a smooth transition.
I hope he did well.
I wasn't lucky enough to get braces. lol. But, at 9 years old...WOW! I think it's brave at any age. lol.
I hope he doesnt suffer too much discomfort, Way to go on being brave :-)
My girls are 8 and have have just had half braces removed after 7 months. The difference is unbelievable! Hope it goes well.
