Neighborhood Heroes
Here is a cell phone video of the news broadcast about our neighborhood. The little kid in the green pajamas is my 5-y-o son. I'm in there too. Sorry about the poor picture and sound quality.

Adversity + Time = Humor
The children will remember how you have faced adversity and this traumatic event will teach them how to behave when beset with a crisis. Your attitude and fortitude will be an inspiration in the years to come.
Very cool to be on TV. Your 5 year old was very cute. Just still sad about all the devistation, but so PROUD of your neighbors. Very cool!
Janet
Janet, we are truly blessed with heroic neighbors.
LL, you are SO right! I remind myself all the time. This is NOTHING compared to what our relatives went through during the holocaust. They made it. So can we.
I'm so sorry you've all had to deal with this mess, but I'm glad you're all safe.
My prayers are with you! It's beautiful...how everyone bonds together in a time of need
What great neighbours you have.
Haha, the kid on TV. Sooo good.
